Steel fixers make up the back bone of the steel reinforcing industry. Taking up one of these critical roles will see you learning how to read off complex plans/drawings and being trained on how to construct a huge range of reinforcing steel structures that are needed to keep buildings, bridges or foundations safely in one piece. Tying the complex steel structures together is a real art form but also requires physical hands on work. These roles will suit someone who is quite visual and can interpret drawings and visualize the finished piece/product that they are then manually creating as part of a team. Full training will be provided, but being quite good with numbers and being able to convert a 2D image into real life is a must. All our frontline roles offer a mix of indoor and outdoor work and an ever changing work environment as each project is on its own unique site with its own challenges. We are always on the lookout for team leaders and future managers so are always looking to offer genuine career advancement prospects for those that show the skills and interest in leading teams and broadening their overall skills. Requirements - Physically fit - Reliable - Team Player - Hard Working Career Progression - Steel Fixer, leading hand, foreman, placing manager
