Property Maintenance Officer

Central Kids is a progressive, forward thinking organisation operating 56 Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres across the Central North Island.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Property Maintenance Officer to join our property team working closely alongside the Property Co-ordinator.

The purpose of this position is to support our maintenance and capital works programme, ensuring our 57 properties are maintained to a high standard.

You will be required to undertake general maintenance/repair/refurbishment work, so ideally you will have the following experience/attributes:
• NZ recognised trade related qualification
• Proven experience managing multiple building/property projects
• Knowledge of building compliance/regulations
• Genuine commitment to Health & Safety
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage projects effectively
• A clean drivers licence

A vehicle will be supplied for work purposes.

Own tools are required, however a tool allowance will be payable.

All applicants must be willing to complete a Safety Check in line with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
