We are seeking applications for a Maintenance Scheduler who will help us achieve and improve the target utilisation and reliability of our plant at Ravensbourne, Dunedin. The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance at our Manufacturing Works site. This responsibility extends to both weekly planned work and major shut-downs. The scheduler is key for working with the centralized planners and site execution teams to help achieve and improve asset availability and promote higher utilisation targets. The Maintenance Scheduler will plan the delivery of maintenance to the company's assets site on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in the safest, most cost effective and efficient manner.
Your experience in maintaining industrial plant will enable you to identify improvement opportunities and your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work with others on site to correct work flow deviations.
Ideally you will possess the following:
* 10 years industry experience
* Mechanical or Electrical trade background
* Understanding of maintenance strategies and lean manufacturing principles
* Strong computer skills and detailed experience with CMMS systems - experience with JDE would be preferred
* Ability to write and develop schedules from inception
* Effective communication and influencing skills
* Understanding of risk, time, and cost/budget management processes required in a manufacturing environment
