Upper Hutt Network Impact Coach
Our Upper Hutt Network of schools is recruiting for an Impact Coach to grow the capability of our SENCO’s, Teacher Aides and staff to support our schools to further develop their local Social and Emotional Curriculum. This could include:

Observing teaching and learning and providing quality feedback
Planning and leading group coaching sessions with a focus on learner strengths and needs (with a focus on social and emotional development)
Mentoring and supporting teachers and leaders within and across schools.
Supporting schools to analyse data that informs the development of their local Social and Emotional Curriculum

This is a special project fixed term role (3-4 school terms). The successful applicant will be able to negotiate a job description to suit their strengths, knowledge and expertise. You will either be a successful teacher or will have relevant qualifications in health related fields e.g. Health Social Work, Counselling, Psychology. Knowledge of current social/ emotional programmes as well as knowledge of strategies and systems to support children with trauma, anxiety etc.
