SCADA Systems Engineer

Job Description

SCADA Systems Engineer required by international company renowned for their ability to deliver technology solutions and services for Intelligent Transportation Systems that helps manage critical transportation systems throughout New Zealand.

Based in Takapuna on the North Shore this role will see you involved in the entire lifecycle of projects including design, configuration, commissioning, testing and training. As a SCADA Systems Engineer, you will work as part of a Support team engaging in the following tasks for the implementation and delivery of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Advanced Traffic Management (ATMS) systems

In this role you will be tasked with various tasks such as:

• Performing application and system testing
• Developing graphical user interfaces, process databases and reports
• Performing operator and system training
• Developing operator and system maintenance training materials
• Assist in creating application and system test procedures
• Developing design-related documentation
• On-site commissioning of systems

It is envisaged to be successful in your application that you will have experience in the programming of DCS and SCADA systems with experience in Linux or other HLC platforms advantageous. You will have excellent oral and written English communication skills with a personality that will enable you to represent our client in a professional manner at all times.
